The retinoscope uses the illumination system of the retinoscope to illuminate the inside

of the eyeball. The light is reflected from the retina. The reflected light changes after

passing through the refractive component of the eyeball. The refractive state of the

eyeball can be judged by checking the change of the reflected light.
