Strategic expansion of the event and networking with the industry and ophthalmic optics: opti 2024 brought the branches together and developed further the trade fair concept for this purpose at a roundtable meeting in Frankfurt with selected industry representatives earlier this month.

“The feedback was overwhelming!”, Cathleen Kabashi, head of opti in Munich, is pleased about the premiere of opti ROUNDTABLE in Frankfurt/M at the beginning of July. Her team ventured into a completely new format: 40 industry representatives sat down at one table and openly discussed the various wishes and expectations of opti as an international industry trade fair. In cooperation with a trade magazine, this resulted in a creative, high-caliber exchange of ideas. However, opticians, manufacturers, trade media, associations, further education, and training institutions all agreed: opti is an indispensable industry networking platform that offers opportunities for success for everyone.
